Photo Shoot

streets-of-willow3

MAXXIS photo shoot at Streets of Willow with Chris Forsberg. Had a great opportunity to hone my tandem skills with Forsberg to get the perfect run. At times we were couple inches aways from each other, sliding through the turn. Glad we made it out of the photo-shoot without banging up each others’ car.

It’s amazing how fast Chris adapts to new tracks so quickly! It was a previlage to have had this opportunity! From this session I had a premonition about next year’s series in regards to my on-the-track behavior: fearless, in-your-face, up-close-and-personal tandem battles! :)

Thanks to Kevin Wells & Sergio Ramirez for making it possible for the S13.5 to last the entire shoot! The car ran well! This is the longest I’ve ever practiced tandem. This is what I need to do during the off-season.

Thanks for the ride to and from Willow Chris! The rig is so comfortable and always clean!

lod-roadrace

Before heading out to the MAXXIS photo shoot, I stopped by Road Race Engineering to get a stronger v-band clamp and safety wires for the external wastegate from Lod ( S-Empire) .  It never broke loose and the boost was consistant the entire time.

sweets-v-band

Safety wire plier on the left, an old v-clamp on the top right corner and a new v-clamp on the bottom right. The clutch master cylinder was also replaced. It’s essential to make sure that all the parts on the S13.5 is in its tip top shape.

It’s an once-in-a-lifetime experience to drive on the strip in the S13.5 heading towards Bally’s to load up the car. I’ll be working hard during the off-season in an attempt to satisfy your anticipation and expecatation for next year’s series. I couldn’t do it without all of your support!

So far during the Off-Season…

a-ls-wiring

LS Automotive’s Sr20det engine harness. Kevin does an amazing job with rewiring the Sr20det harness; it’s simple, clean, reliable, a mass reduction of unnecessary wires, plug in and play. If your wiring needs an upgraded or a complete harness feel free to contact him @ www.lsauto.com .

I realized that Kevin always labels each wire and writes down its details.

a-seibon

Picked up a new SEIBON carbon fiber hood! After a few decals on the hood, the S13.5 is ready for SEMA! See you outside the Central Hall! I’ll be near the S13.5.
