Video footage of the Nitto Mazda RX8 crash can be viewed on Wreckedmagazine.com.  Rain started to fall in the middle of Joon’s run which caused the Nitto Mazda RX8 to slide out of control and crash into the tire barrier and K-Rail.  The damage was severe enough to keep the team from making a qualiying pass.  “The damage was quite severe but all that matters is that Joon’s ok.  We should have the car all shined up and ready to go for Irwindale.” Said Ron Bergenholtz Team Manager of Bergenholtz Racing.
