As many of you have heard Bergenholtz Racing and Joon Maeng Racing has parted ways on July 3rd 2012. Although it took us by surprise we truly believe this is better for both of us in the drifting world. We wish BR the best!

It’s truly an honor and blessing to be working with our partners Lucas Oil and Mav TV! They will be making it possible for us to get back out for the rest of the 2012 Formula Drift season. Of course it wouldn’t be possible with out the crew at S-Empire building our new Lucas Oil Mav TV S13 Nitto Tire at Road Race Engineering. We’ve partnered up with Mike Welch at Road Race Engineering to build a competitive vehicle. RRE specialized in Mitsubishi’s, Rally and all types of race cars.

We’ve been cranking on this new chassis since July 4th. The Team has been working every day and night doing their very best to complete the build for the Formula Drift Championship. We’ll be running a LS2 engine built at Westech Performance.

We tried our very best to make it out to Seattle but having only two weeks to build a brand new drift car is quite a wild adventure. Evergreen Speedway is my favorite track and it hurts to miss Formula D round 5. This would be the first time missing an event since my drifting career in FD.

We’ll make it up in 2013 Seattle fans! We love you and appreciate your support! Miss you guys!
